Ashley L. McAlpine

Ashley L. McAlpine is a Partner at McAlpine, PC. Since gaining her license to practice law in Michigan in 2014, Ms. McAlpine has litigated in a number of construction and complex business disputes. She specializes in construction law, complex litigation, reviewing and drafting contracts, and research and writing.
She has worked on a number of cases involving large-scale construction projects. Ms. McAlpine has experience litigating a case dealing with one of the largest tire distributors in the world, as well as several municipal cases. She has also worked on the Flint Water Crisis class action. Outside of work, Ms. McAlpine is an active member of the Women’s Lawyers Association of Michigan.
Ms. McAlpine graduated with Honors from the Wayne State University Law School. During her time in law school, Ms. McAlpine was a part of the Free Legal Aid Clinic. She was also a law clerk for the Honorable Susan Borman during her studies. Ms. McAlpine served as an Associate Editor for Wayne Law's Journal of Law and Society. Before law school, Ms. McAlpine attended Central Michigan University. She graduated cum laude, receiving her Bachelor of Science in English and Political Science. Ms. McAlpine's recent accomplishments include being named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers from 2020 - 2023 and has been named one of the Top Women Attorneys in Michigan in the Hour Detroit Magazine.
